With a flat nose in America, where everywhere you look, there are always pointy noses walking around the streets, sitting in parks, climbing the stairs across with you, anywhere, having confidence is so hard- Most especially that she and her family were located in Dallas, where people are in rural areas, life as a kid for her was difficult. That is why, on the age of 18, she made a bold move by taking an advice from a book that she once read and started to stand for herself.
She and her flat nose were both being bullied every single day. She had a rough childhood. Until finally when she and her family moved into other places, her confidence somehow saw the light. At the age of 21, she began her acting career. Rachel McDowall said that there were nights when she could not sleep because she remembers the bullying done by other kids
. It came to a point where she still remembers it while taping, that is why a director from her early projects, talked to her one on one and provided an alternative solution, a self-confidence booster, a nose job. At first, Rachel McDowall was not open with the idea of having a plastic surgery, but because of the director’s persuasiveness, she agreed.The interesting part here is that she was reportedly had done a couple of more plastic surgeries.
And no matter what they do, they will always be the people who made us laugh, cry, go gaga over their personal issues, and made our television sets worth opening. And so, it’s but very fair to stop judging them and try to understand that what they do is for us to love them instead. Love the way you look, but whenever you feel down, do not limit yourself to look as beautiful as you can be as possible.
